Microsoft has released an updated version of Outlook that they call new Outlook. New Outlook is web-based and doesn’t have the same support for integration as the old version. This affects Monitor ERP, as the system uses COM add-ins.

We have begun looking into the possibility of integrating Monitor ERP with Microsoft’s online services. Monitor ERP’s current integration will however still work with the Outlook Desktop app (previously referred to as Outlook classic) and Microsoft will continue supporting this product until at least 2029.

If you are unable to switch between versions of Outlook, you will most likely need to uninstall Outlook/Microsoft 365 from your device, then go to https://www.office.com, sign in with your work account and install Microsoft 365 from there.

If you are unable to download Microsoft 365, you need to contact your IT department or Microsoft support.
