Monitor strikes sponsorship deal with Fortuna Düsseldorf
Monitor ERP is now one the official sponsors of Fortuna Düsseldorf. This is a major step for the company in its continued development on the German market. The deal is a collaboration between two partners who are as traditional as they are innovative. Monitor has been operating for decades and has consistently been a pioneer in the area of ERP for manufacturing companies. Fortuna, as a traditional club with “Fortuna for all”, also raised eyebrows recently with a new concept which is unique in the world as, in the long term, all fans will receive free entry based on sponsorship income.
In Sweden, Monitor has always relied heavily on sports sponsorship and, among other things, sponsored the Swedish national biathlon team and the ice hockey team, Brynäs IF, while also securing the naming rights for their arena. In this respect there is a certain tradition here.
Following the establishment of the German office in Düsseldorf at the beginning of 2023, Fortuna's support marks another milestone in Monitor's perception in Germany as a leading ERP software provider in the manufacturing industry.
"It is a great feeling to be able to support this great club – which has so much tradition and is known throughout Germany – in our new home of Düsseldorf. Seeing our logo in the stadium in front of 50,000 spectators, and also on TV, in the second tier of German football is a great honor and makes us very proud," said Tomas Blomberg, CEO of Monitor Germany.

The highlight of the collaboration is the sponsorship of the futsal team strip. The technically demanding game, and Fortuna's commitment to this sport – which is still relatively new in Germany compared to other countries – also aligns with Monitor's innovative spirit. Support for the new e-sports team is also on the agenda, which emphasizes the digital focus of both parties.
The Fortuna Business Forum on August 29, which was the first joint event, was already a highlight.
“It was very special for us to be part of this great event, which proved to us that, thanks to Fortuna, we can establish even more useful business contacts in the region,” Blomberg added.
Everything seems to be in place to make the 2023/24 season successful not only for Fortuna, but also for Monitor.
