About Singapore Polytechnic (SP)
Singapore Polytechnic, established in 1954, is a leading educational institution in Singapore, recognized for its innovative approaches to learning and strong industry engagement. With 10 schools offering 30 full-time diploma courses and four common entry programs, SP currently serves over 12,391 students.
Driving digitalization for SMEs
Assigned by the government to spearhead digitalization efforts for precision engineering small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), SP is committed to equipping the workforce with essential skills for the future economy. The institution plays an integral role in enterprise transformation and workforce upskilling through various initiatives, including Continuing Education and Training (CET) and a recently introduced micro-credentials program.
SP champions innovation in pedagogy and sustainability, aiming to develop a net-zero sustainability roadmap. These centers will serve as a platform to demonstrate the integration of ERP systems with other third-party technologies, empowering businesses to streamline operations, enhance efficiency, and embrace sustainable practices.
In addition to the technological advancements, our partnership will focus on co-developing training programs that align with industry needs, ensuring that students gain proficiency in essential digital tools used in modern manufacturing. At Monitor ERP System, we take sustainability seriously and have taken significant steps to meet the demands of sustainability and environmental awareness. With Sustainability by Monitor, we are taking a big step forward. By using Sustainability by Monitor, our customers will be able to measure their environmental impact, evaluate it and take strategic measures to reduce emissions and consumption of resources. After a year of work, it is now an integral part of our ERP system, with Fredrik Tåneland as one of the developers involved.
