Monitor ERP celebrates its 50th anniversary
1 February 2024
Monitor ERP, based in Hudiksvall, Sweden, is celebrating 50 years as a leading ERP system supplier to manufacturing companies. Monitor ERP has enjoyed a successful journey from its beginnings in 1974 and is now represented in 13 countries with over 5,500 customers worldwide and approximately 500 employees.
“Turning 50 is a milestone Having started in a small village in Hälsingland and developed into a leading provider of ERP systems is fantastic and something we’re very proud of. This year we will celebrate turning 50 together with both customers and employees, without them we wouldn’t have gotten to where we are today, and we’re going to continue growing together”, says Jörgen Persson, owner of Monitor ERP.
2024 brings with it an important 50th anniversary for Monitor ERP and the celebration plans are well underway globally. In Sweden, we are currently preparing for the biggest user seminar in the company’s history with an estimated 1,300 participants.
Over the past 50 years Monitor ERP has expanded and doubled its turnover between 2018 and 2023. The company has a clear vision and is now aiming towards a turnover of a billion Swedish kronor in 2026. The company is expected to continue growing and has reached a new milestone – over 300 employees in Sweden and almost 500 employees worldwide.
“We’re growing internationally, and our development department has now expanded to Malaysia. At the same time, we are expanding our support department internationally in our daughter companies. We believe in working closely with our customers to create solutions for the future”, says Adrian Aptowitzer, CEO for Monitor Sweden.
The company having the software, implementation and support in-house is a recipe for success for Monitor ERP.
“Hudiksvall will continue to be the core for our development, sales, and support. We are constantly striving for efficiency and are aware of the increased demands of today’s industrial landscape. To remain competitive on the global market, manufacturing must be as effective as possible. That’s why we’re never going to stop developing our ERP system”, added Adrian Aptowitzer.
