From paper to app – Olofsfors optimizes their expense management with Monitor Expense
Olofsfors, a company that specializes in manufacturing high-quality steel products, is now able to manage their expenses both easier and quicker with the help of Monitor Expense. The digital solution reduces their paperwork, saves them time, and simplifies processes for both employees and the finance department.
“Previously any expenses on company cards were managed manually. There was a lot of paperwork that needed to be filled out and sent off to be authorized. Once the documents reached us in the finance department, we posted the expenses. Managing expenses manually took a lot longer compared to how we do things today,” said Linda Näslund, Accounting Manager at Olofsfors.

The authorization can also be done on the app. The fully posted expense report then comes to us in the finance department and can be sent to Monitor ERP to be recorded,” continued Linda.
By automating expense management, Olofsfors has been able to significantly improve efficiency and reduce the need for paper archives, which means that they are able to access their documents remotely.
“Managing expenses digitally makes things much more efficient and means that we no longer need to keep paper records. Both for those submitting expenses and for the finance department, expense management has been made much quicker. Expense reports can be managed even if you are not at the office. It has also made it easier for users to view their old expense reports,” Linda added.
