Since the 1940s, Delsbo Candle has manufactured candles in Fredriksfors, in the northern part of Sweden. Delsbo Candle is at the cutting edge when it comes to high quality, environment, and efficient production. The company was the first in the world to offer Nordic Swan Eco-labeled candles. Approximately 20 employees work at the firm, which has an annual turnover of about SEK 60 million. Delsbo Candle primarily works with large customers, and most of its products are manufactured for the customers' own brands (Private label).

"Staff from Monitor assisted during the upgrade and everything went very smoothly," explains Olle Skog, owner and CEO at Delsbo Candle.

"We no longer remember how G4 works, says Sune Persson," who is responsible for production and delivery.

The company uses MONITOR G5 to gain full control over its entire business – from purchase to accounting. Olle thinks that G5 is a very good tool when it comes to following up the company's finances.

Financial Manager Sara Strand appreciates the drilldown function in the income statement which facilitates follow-up, since it is easy to see accounts, invoice images, and vouchers. Electronic invoice management and authorization of supplier invoices are functions that help her with the accounts payable.

"When I contact Monitor Support Center, I always get a quick response to my questions regarding, for example, invoices, credit invoices, and change of chart of accounts. If they cannot answer me directly, they always get back to me shortly," says Sara Strand.

After using MONITOR G5 for several years, they can see that new useful functions and procedures are constantly added to the system. Forecast management is an example of such a function. This will replace its current Excel spreadsheets. The forecast management function in G5 will be very useful during production planning and purchasing management for Delsbo Candle, since it manufactures and sells seasonal products.
