How Monitor moved over to a digital invoice flow
Monitor has recently performed a review of all its suppliers, with the aim of digitalizing and streamlining the company’s invoice flow as far as possible. This has saved precious time, as well as money.
Over the past year, Monitor ERP System has devoted a lot of resources into digitalizing its invoice flow – that is, converting paper invoices into digital and electronic format as far as possible.
Keeping your supplier register up to date is key in order to achieve an effective invoice flow in MONITOR, for example, by maintaining accurate contact details for all your suppliers. The suppliers’ corporate ID number and company name have been verified to a large extent, to ensure the right supplier is matched when loading invoices into MONITOR. And last but not least, the pre-filled signer code for the supplier ensures the invoice is forwarded for authorization after being loaded into MONITOR.
Julia Sjödin, who works in Finance at Monitor ERP System, explains further.
“The aim of the digitalization project was to streamline our working methods around supplier invoices. Our intention was to save time and money while improving quality-assurance of invoice management, and we've definitely achieved these goals,” she explains.

A digital invoice flow is both flexible and cost-efficient. You can manage it from your regular workplace or your home office, and you’ll always receive invoices in real-time containing information which is pre-filled in MONITOR. So instead of working manually, like before, you can spend your time on valuable working tasks such as cost analysis.
