Monitor ERP System and the Swedish Biathlon Federation set sights on long-term partnership
Monitor ERP System and the Swedish Biathlon Federation are proud to announce a long-term partnership that aims to deliver sustained Swedish success on the biathlon course right up to the 2026 Winter Olympics.
Monitor has expanded significantly in recent years, venturing into several global markets – not only in the Nordic region, but in Asia and across Europe – and the Hudiksvall-based company has ambitious targets for the years ahead.
“In order to reach our goals, we have to invest and make things happen. And we have to collaborate. With this in mind it’s extremely important we find the right partners, who have the same vision and share our values. The Swedish Biathlon Federation ticks all these boxes,” said Morgan Persson, CEO of Monitor ERP System.
Monitor’s owner, Jörgen Persson, sums this up in three guiding values: “Long-term, committed, and down to earth.”
“We’ve been working in line with these values for some time. They’re important for the whole company, forming our identity and taking us where we are today. We have a long-term plan for our partnership with the Swedish Biathlon Federation that will ensure firm commitment from both parties. We hope and believe our contribution to the Federation and national team program can really make a mark, not only for the elite biathletes but the Federation, and everyone who takes part in the sport. We want our contribution to benefit everyone involved in Swedish biathlon.”
The Swedish Biathlon Federation’s vision in the run up to 2026 is to make Sweden a world leader in the event, and win medals in each championship. Achieving this goal in a sport where the competition is growing all the time requires a lot of resources and a long-term strategy. The collaboration with Monitor ERP System – which is the biggest, most long-term ever for the Federation – seeks to maximize the potential of Swedish biathlon to lead development in the event on a global scale, benefitting elite biathletes as well as the junior setup. The agreement sees Monitor become a new main partner of the Swedish Biathlon Federation.

“This is a groundbreaking partnership for Swedish biathlon,” said Sofia Domeij, chairperson of the Swedish Biathlon Federation. “That a Swedish-owned, world leading company like Monitor ERP System has chosen to focus its global marketing on us means we can plan further ahead than ever before. We’d like to wish Monitor a warm welcome to the biathlon family, and look forward to a successful journey together. Biathlon enjoys a really high media profile throughout Europe, and we’re confident the partnership will be of great benefit to us both.”
As part of Friday’s formal announcement, Monitor will present the Swedish Biathlon Federation with a gift voucher for 15 FX Biathlon airguns from FX Airguns, to be used for its junior training program.
“We’re looking forward to a long, successful partnership between Monitor ERP System and the Swedish Biathlon Federation,” added Monitor CEO Morgan Persson.
The collaboration with Monitor includes significant investment into the elite program, focusing on individuals as well as their surrounding support network.
“The agreement with Monitor ERP System really stands out during these times,” said Rikard Grip, Secretary General of the Swedish Biathlon Federation. “It’s hard to believe that, at a time when sport in general has been hit by massive cutbacks, we can lay the foundations to boost our organization. And I know from my many years as national team manager that the margins are small, and the competition is getting tougher all the time. I’m convinced Monitor will challenge and inspire us to defend our position at the top of the sport globally – which is worth its weight in gold.”
