Monitor steps up launch of Norwegian subsidiary
The time has come to take our expansion in Norway to the next level. With a brand new subsidiary set up and a fresh team in place, Monitor is now moving into new offices based on Karenslyst Allé 53, in Oslo. The company will also be unveiling the Norwegian version of its website.
With over 20 years’ experience in the Norwegian market under its belt, Monitor took the decision in the spring of 2020 to reinforce its presence in the nation with the aim of providing even better support to its customers.
A subsidiary was formed under the name Monitor ERP System Norge AS, and recruitment of local staff got under way. Two consultants and a sales representative were employed in early September, with an induction program provided shortly after. A clear objective during the recruitment process was to identify employees with a firm grasp of how manufacturing companies operate in Norway, and according to Jonas Persson, CEO of Monitor ERP System Norge AS, our expectations were exceeded.
We would like to wish a warm welcome to our new sales representative, Øyvind Aronsveen, who boasts extensive experience serving manufacturing companies both in Norway and around the world. Monitor’s two consultants, Torbjörn Borg and Kjell H. Skalmeraas, also have a lot of experience of the ERP sector in Norway.
“The collective expertise our consultants possess will be extremely valuable to both our customers and the Monitor Group,” said Jonas Persson, CEO of Monitor Norway.
The latest generation of Monitor’s ERP system, MONITOR G5 has been on the Swedish market since 2016 and is set to be launched in Norway in November 2020.
Jonas Persson is looking forward to introducing the new version on the Norwegian market.
“We’ve devoted extra resources to the development of the Norwegian country package to ensure it’s adapted to the procedures followed by manufacturing companies in Norway, in addition to accounting requirements.”
“We’ve already started demonstrating parts of the system to prospective customers, which has seen us win a lot of new business in the last few weeks alone,” added Persson.
In his view, this is a clear indication there is a lot of demand in Norway for a system like MONITOR G5 – and he believes the company will continue to grow at a high pace.
