MONITOR-to-MONITOR – business communication at its best
Manual order registration is a thing of the past! MONITOR-to-MONITOR (M2M) facilitates business communication with customers and suppliers who also use MONITOR. You can save lots of time by importing orders, invoices, and order confirmations straight into MONITOR.
When, for example, you send orders or order confirmations via e-mail in MONITOR, an XML file is attached that can be used to perform the registration in MONITOR. The file is imported to MONITOR from the e-mail.
“The big advantage of MONITOR-to-MONITOR is that processes are speeded up, as orders, invoices, and order confirmations come into the system far more quickly. It also reduces the risk of human error,” explains Johan Holmsten, Sales Manager at Monitor ERP System.
The clear import windows in MONITOR show any difference in prices, delivery times, terms, and other data before you approve the import of customer orders, order confirmations, or invoices. It is also possible to update information that doesn’t match.
There are no external programs required, as all communication takes place via e-mail – in MONITOR G5 you’ll find an inbox on the desktop which lets you know when M2M e-mail is received. This shows the type of message, status, time when the message was received, name of the sender, company, subject of the message, and origin.

MONITOR-to-MONITOR (M2M) is included in G5 as standard, just as it was in G4. You can of course continue using M2M to communicate with your customers and suppliers who use MONITOR G4.
