News in G5 to simplify your quality work
MONITOR G5 – Now with support for measuring data and improved packing handling. Continuous stock count is a function which has been much in demand by many customers and now it is available in G5.
Keep track of measuring data and tolerances in MONITOR. It is now possible to create measuring processes for operations, and to report and save measuring data. This provides further support – integrated in the system – to follow-up on your quality work.
Examples of smart ways to apply this system support:
Please feel free to contact your instructor/consultant to discuss your potential area of use and to get started with reporting of measuring data!
You can now create templates for combinations of packaging parts, which is useful if you know a particular part is always packed with the same combination of packaging parts. For example, you may always have five pieces of each part in a box, with a maximum of 10 boxes on a pallet, and a lid for each one. In the Part register, you can link the template to the parts it will be used for. So when you later generate a pick list for an order, the system creates a complete package structure.
Continuous stock count is another new function which has been much in demand by many customers. A workflow for continuous stock count has now been added to the Stock count in list procedure. The stock count due date enables you to see which parts/locations need to be counted first. Using these dates, you can then use the Agent to automatically generate stock count lists at an interval of your choice, such as weekly, monthly, or annually. For this to work, a stock count interval has been added for parts/locations. The stock count interval (in months) must first be entered for the ABC code. The part's stock count interval is assigned based on the ABC code of the part. (The interval can be overridden at part level.)
The E-invoice function in MONITOR G5 enables you to easily send e-invoices to your customers and receive them from your suppliers. You can activate the function yourself within MONITOR G5. Since Monitor ERP System AB has already entered into a partnership agreement with CrossState, you don’t need to have your own agreement with an operator. Monitor will charge your company on a monthly basis according to the volume of invoices that are sent and received.
The cost is SEK 2.50 per invoice. Using the print and e-mail service, you can also transfer all distribution of customer invoices, including to those recipients unable to receive e-invoices.
EIM Invoice Capture and a new verification and feedback function enable you to automate the process of registering supplier invoices. The aim is to simplify the workflow when the supplier is unable to send e-invoices, or invoices in MONITOR-to-MONITOR format. The solution is based on an automated interpretation of paper-based and PDF invoices through a cloud-based solution developed in collaboration with OptoSweden. By sending the invoices in PDF format to a specific e-mail address, the invoice then reaches MONITOR with the basic information for the invoice automatically loaded.
All you need to do is verify that the interpreted data is correct, and make any changes required, before saving the invoice. There is also a smart learning function whereby MONITOR automatically provides feedback to the interpreter in order to make the interpretation process more intelligent when managing future invoices.
In order to use EIM Invoice Capture, the EIM (Electronic Invoice Management) option must be installed. The price per interpreted invoice is SEK 4.50, up to a volume of 10,000 invoices a year. The price is lower with a higher volume. For a current price list, please contact [email protected]
You can now set up allocation keys in MONITOR. An allocation key functions as a “template” in order to allocate costs in percentage terms, for example, among cost centers or cost units. The allocation key can then be applied to automatic allocations. By changing the allocation key, all automatic allocations which use the key are updated automatically.
The function to release periodic automatic postings/allocations is now included in G5. This allows you to generate automatic postings/allocations on a monthly basis in a common voucher, rather than in real-time, when postings are carried out in the system.
