To further develop our product and business side by side with our customers is essential to us. This way we maintain good relations and it lets us know we prioritize the right activities. As part of this we launched a digital idea forum – Monitor Idea Forum. Here Monitor’s customers, employees, and partner offices around the world can submit suggestions and ideas on how we should continue to develop MONITOR G5 to be the best ERP system, optimized for manufacturing companies.

Since the launch of Monitor Idea Forum two months ago, it’s had more than 300 visitors per day and together these visitors have submitted more than 350 ideas/suggestions, placed more than 1,500 votes, and added lots of valuable comments to existing ideas.

More new ideas for MONITOR

The categories Manufacturing and Sales have received most attention in the forum, but suggestions have been registered for all categories. In the release of version 2.54 of MONITOR G5, the first suggestion from Monitor Idea Forum saw the light of day in our product. It was the first suggestion which received enough votes to be developed – less than a month after the launch of the forum.

A total of 8 ideas have already been carried out and about 40 more are planned to be developed in the near future. And even more of them are standing by to be presented to Monitor’s Product Council.

We genuinely listen to our customers and their ideas and our aim is to keep prioritizing suggestions submitted to Monitor Idea Forum.

How does it work?

Log in with the same login details you use for the Monitor Support Portal, at ideas.monitorerp.com.

Either submit a new request about an area you want to develop or read about the hundreds of ideas that have already been submitted by other MONITOR users. For example, you can vote for an idea you like, or develop someone else’s by adding more information.

What happens next?

Our area managers for the development of each module in MONITOR G5 regularly review newly submitted ideas and comments, and respond, categorize, and update the status as required. Once a month, they present the best ideas to Monitor’s Product Council.

The Council then decides how to move forward. It includes representatives from Sales, Consultants, Support, the Development Department, as well as our CEO.

If you’ve been involved in an idea – or have submitted a request yourself – you’ll get feedback when the status is updated. This could be ”Under consideration”, “More information needed”, “Planned – part of our development plan”, and so on.
