Arenco’s business concept is to develop, market, and deliver – worldwide – its efficient machines and complete production lines for packaging, fish processing, and matchmaking production. It also provides service and spare parts for these machines and supplies consumables to the matchmaking industry. Why did you choose MONITOR?
"We are part of the Amymone group, and some of the companies within the group already use MONITOR and only had good things to say about the system," explains Ms. Jenny Xiao, Operation Manager at Shanghai Arenco Machinery Co., Ltd.

"Monitor’s consultants have given us very good support. Not only do they have great knowledge of the system, they are also experienced, and understand the manufacturing industry. This has helped us a lot, especially when it comes to pre-production preparation when creating the product structures. Without the consultants from Monitor it would have been harder for Arenco to set this up, since our business is based on small volumes and complicated structures. With their help, implementation went very well and was completed on schedule."

How much of the ERP system are you using in your business?
"Our entire operation is managed by MONITOR at present. There are functions in MONITOR that we use, but in other ways than intended. Together with Monitor, we have adapted them to suit our ideas and purposes. We only manage payroll and some of the financial functions outside of the system, which is due to legal demands in China. We also use the Management Accounting and MONITOR EIM options in order to simplify our day-to-day work," Jenny adds.
Does MONITOR contribute to the process of further developing your business?
"MONITOR helps us to systemize different routines that we previously handled with Excel and Access, which has saved us a lot of resources. More effective ways of working definitely help to develop our business," Jenny adds.
